The Itinerary

Your adventure begins as you meet your guide and driver, leaving Marrakech behind and heading southeast toward the towering Atlas Mountains. We arrive at the village of Imlil (1700m), where you will be introduced to your dedicated team of muleteers and your mountain chef.

Our trek starts by following the river toward the local waterfalls, stopping for a prepared lunch by the stream. We then continue our steady ascent along the valley until we reach the Neltner Refuge (3200m). Here, you will enjoy a hot dinner and rest for the night, sleeping either in the refuge or in tents to prepare for summit day.

  • Walking Time: Approx. 5 Hours
  • Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner

We start with a very early wake-up call and a hearty breakfast. Setting off from the refuge, we join the trail and climb gradually toward the pass of Toubkal (4000m). From there, we navigate below the ridge until we reach the summit of Mount Toubkal (4167m)—the highest peak in North Africa.

Take time to enjoy a summit snack and absorb the spectacular, sprawling views of the surrounding valleys and peaks. Afterward, we descend back to the refuge for a well-earned hot meal. Our journey continues down along the stream until we reach the remote village of Aremd (2000m), where we will enjoy dinner and spend the night in an authentic local guesthouse.

  • Walking Time: Approx. 8 Hours
  • Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning, we hike toward the Tidli water source and continue through the beautiful Ouaoufghast pine woods (2300m), which offer impressive vistas of the Imlil valley and Atlas peaks.

We walk gently down to Ouassagou (1800m), where we will take a break for our final mountain lunch. We will then say our goodbyes to our incredible support team of muleteers and our chef before driving comfortably back to your accommodation in Marrakech.

  • Walking Time: Approx. 2.5 Hours
